Bio

Clyde Esco is a Boston-born independent hip-hop and R&B artist, songwriter, producer, and founder of Heavy Krown. With more than 17 years of experience creating music, Esco has built his sound around sharp lyricism, melodic records, real-life storytelling, and the versatility to move between high-energy rap and smooth R&B.

Throughout his career, Clyde Esco has performed in Boston, Providence, New York, and Edinburgh, Scotland, while sharing stages with artists including Big Sean, Big K.R.I.T., Ace Hood, Stalley, and Inspectah Deck. His music has also reached national platforms, including an appearance on Shade 45’s Hate It or Love It.

After stepping away from releasing music for several years, Esco returned with a renewed focus and a clear vision for the next chapter of his career. Through releases such as Born Alone, Do The Most, Emotions, Smoke, You Know It, Mood, and Come Home To Me, he continues to show the range that has defined his artistry while introducing listeners to a more refined version of his sound.

At the center of this new era is Heavy Krown, the independent brand and movement Esco created to represent ownership, perseverance, confidence, and building something of your own. From the music and visuals to live performances and apparel, every part of the Heavy Krown identity is connected to the world Clyde Esco is building.

For Clyde Esco, this chapter is about more than releasing records. It’s about building a lasting catalog, expanding Heavy Krown, connecting with new audiences, and turning years of experience into his strongest run yet.

The Krown is heavy. The journey is just getting started.
